A few weeks ago I hosted a hands-on design workshop in my studio. Two sweet ladies (Brittany and Linda) attended the workshop. They arrived with containers brought from home and an eagerness to learn! I started out with demonstrating design techniques and then we looked at each vessel to determine a design strategy. We covered everything from color combinations, anchor flowers, fillers, symmetry and so on (you have to attend my workshop to get all the details!).
Another exciting thing...Elizabeth Glessner from Glessner Photography also joined us and took pictures of the workshop in progress. Below you will see the beautiful product we had to work with, the bucket of design goodies for each attendee, me in action teaching, and Linda and Brittany in action designing! It was a fun morning! I was thrilled to hang out with Elizabeth and get beautiful images of the morning to share here.
If you are interested in attending a future ALO workshop check my website for upcoming events or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. I also host private design parties! wine + cheese + floral design = a fun evening!
