Style Me Pretty Feature!

Kate + Mike’s spring wedding is one of my 2012 favorites!  Needless to say, I was over the moon when it was featured on Style Me Pretty yesterday!  Here is a link to it if you missed it!  The images from Nancy Ray are stunning and the whole shebang was beautifully styled by Rebecca Rose Events!

We have BIG news…

RRE/ALO

Hi friends,

As Becca and I come up on our one-year anniversary, we have an even more exciting milestone to announce: We’re moving!

While we both love our Burke Street space, the growth we’ve had over the last year has us busting out of our little shop’s seams. As of September 1, we’ll be moved into a new space that has enough square footage to hold our growing business and collaborations.

I can’t divulge the location just yet – there’s still a few details to iron out – but I can share that there will be ample parking, lots of space, and a super short drive to downtown.  And I know it isn’t glamorous, but I am pretty excited about our new dumpster too!!

Thank you all for your love and support this last year. We’re so excited to be able to bring you a heightened level of service and design with this move.

With all that being said…I will truly miss Burke Street.  We have had lots of laughs at this location…

And lots of goofing around…

And more…

And even more…

Yes, we will miss Burke Street, but the good times will keep on rollin’ as we both make this big move!

Socially yours,
Amy

We’re Growing!

Amy Lynne Originals is excited to have Beth Ann and Anna Marie on board.  They are both doing an incredible job and are so talented. With their help, we rocked out two weddings this past Saturday!

Anna Marie is beginning a career in the nonprofit sector and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Amy and learn from her magical talent.

Beth Ann is excited to help with floral designs. She also works at a local architecture firm and is talented in graphic design.

Check out our About page for their bios. A big welcome to Beth Ann and Anna Marie!

Join us for our Grand Opening Open House!

We’re throwing a party and you’re ALL invited to stop by!  Great food, great drinks, a great space and even better company.

Hope you can make it! ~Amy

Great New Location Offers Exciting Opportunities

We’re opening shop at 908 Burke Street. The stylish new space will allow us to be even more accessible to new and existing clients. Plus, we’re thrilled to be part of the growing Burke Street community.

I’m excited to share the space with Becca of Rebecca Rose Events, a full service event planning, design and styling firm. Becca and I both take pride in providing perfectly executed and uniquely customized arrangements and events. We also have lots of fun together!

Our sign is not up yet, but just look for the Pepsi mural and the fancy grocery sign on this historic building. We love the retro look and think we look pretty snazzy modeling out front.

While we will maintain our own businesses, the benefits of our collaboration on creative design will be endless!

You are welcome to check out our vibrant and inspiring shop. Since we’re often on the go, you may want to call first.
Thanks for your continued support!

Thanks Skirt! It was fun.

It was such an honor to be featured in the June issue of Skirt! Not only did I love the article, but I had the experience of interviewing with Sara Wilson, the editor of the magazine. The whole process felt more like chatting with a good friend than a formal interview. In fact, when it was over I was left wondering what on earth she could write about … all I did was gab along about my business. I think that is a sign of a talented interviewer.

After the interview was the photo shoot. Anyone who knows me well would recognize that this was way out of my comfort zone! It is so hard for me to relax when looking at a camera lens. Sara was able to turn my discomfort into an interesting shot. I love the way red in the flowers were accented by the red door, that my sign was in the shot, that I was looking more thoughtful about the flowers then uncomfortable, that my casual nature came through with curling toes in my flip-flops! She captured it all.

More exciting news and press to come!

Our bridal bouquet is on the cover of Forsyth Woman Engaged!

We are thrilled to have our bouquet on the cover of the premier issue of Forsyth Woman Engaged! Look for more pictures and our ad inside the magazine.

The bridal photo shoot took place at the beautiful WinMock. The bouquet is predominately white with a few soft pastel accents. It has a hand-tied natural style with a touch of the vintage look. Made with gorgeous peonies, garden roses, lamb’s ear, seeded eucalyptus and snowberries.

We had a lovely time at the Forsyth Woman Engaged unveiling party and wish the new publication best of luck!
